This ornament stand is really pretty and looks beautiful with or without ornaments, BUT getting the branches all arranged the way I wanted was difficult. After getting the branches arranged you need to tighten the top to keep them all in place, but tightening it mades the branches move! However it looks so nice it was worth the extra fussing time. It folds flat for storage - a big plus!

I thought this would be metal, but it plastic. Other than that, it is very nice and was easy to adjust. I just losened the star on top and all the "arms" moved freely so I could arrange it. There are even pieces so you can add space between the "arms".

Certainly, one would assume that a metal tree would be used for just Christmas and the cute ornaments that are so readily available at that time of year.
I came up with the idea of using this tree all year long. At this moment, I have Spring and Easter decorations adorning my tree. I plan to be creative and redecorate my tree all year long to be appropriate for the season.
What a wonderful way to expand the use of this product.

I had difficulty with the branches and one actually broke off when I was trying to get them straight. The welds are not very good. Very high price for below average workmanship.
Great if you plan on leaving it in the box..

I needed an ornament stand to display ornaments at a craft show. I took this out of the box at the show for the first time and it was pretty easy to arrange. I tightened the screw once I got it where I wanted it and then hung my ornaments on it. From folks taking ornaments off (not pulling or anything, just slightly bumping it occasionally) it came loose and would get really wobbly. I had to keep tightening the screw. Not that big of a deal though.
After the 3rd craft show I took this to, it was falling apart. The screw wouldn't stay tight at all anymore, the paint was chipping, and the "branches" wobbled. All I had ever done with this thing is arrange the "branches," hang ornaments for a while, take them off, and put it back in the box. That's it. Very cheaply made.
